A code calculated from every byte of the download. If even one byte changes, the code is completely different - so it proves you got exactly Aramis's file. You don't need to do anything with it: GoldGuide Sync checks it (and Aramis's signature) on every update.STEP 2
GoldGuide Sync app
Shares your drop rates, brings back the community numbers, and keeps GoldGuide and itself up to date.

Keep. When Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
This happens because GoldGuide Sync is new and not code-signed yet.
Install
- Close WoW and unzip the GoldGuide download.
- Move the
GoldGuidefolder intoWorld of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns. - Open
GoldGuideSync.exe(step 2). It moves itself to its own programs folder and puts a gold coin on your desktop. - In Settings, pick your WoW folder (Browse) and sign in with your GoldGuide account. It should say “Connected”.
- Start WoW and tick GoldGuide in the AddOns list. From now on, GoldGuide Sync keeps both up to date by itself.
What it shares
Only mob kills and drop counts. No character names, no IP addresses.
Alpha is invite only. Ask Aramis for an account, then manage it on the Account page.
What it does
- Gold per hour, XP and your latest drops in a small window.
- Toss Junk: picks the cheapest grey to throw away. Never touches greens or better.
- Auction scan prices in item tooltips, plus sell helpers.
- Item search: where an item drops, the best drop rate and the closest spot.
- Community drop rates, updated every night from all testers.
